Deputy City Manager Stanley Earley
Stanley Earley began his career in government with the City of Dayton in 1976 as a Management Analyst in the Office of Management and Budget. Mr. Earley’s career spans more than 30 years, with close to seven years of that time spent working in the private sector for United Way of Dayton as a Senior Marketing Analyst (1987-1990), Associate Campaign Director (1985-1987), Director of Campaign Cultivation (1983-1985) and Campaign Associate (1980 –1983). He was named Dayton’s Deputy City Manager in June of 2007.
Prior to returning to the City of Dayton in 2004 to become an Assistant City Manager, Mr. Earley was the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Budget Finance and Administration for Prince George’s County, Maryland from February 2003 to 2004. He also held several other positions with the Prince George’s County Office of Management and Budget beginning in 1998. They include Director, Deputy Director and Management Analyst V.
Mr. Earley holds a B.A. in Urban Studies. A Master of Arts in Urban Affairs and Policy Analysis and is a Certified Economic Development Professional. He is a member of various boards and committees, including the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), United States Air & Trade Show (USATS), Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC), Strategic Financial Plan Study Committee (SFP), City of Dayton Citizens Financial Review Group (CFRG) and the Housing & Neighborhood Strategic Task Force (HNSTF).
